We launch a Disciplinary Forum in 2023 to Develop/Boost Its Sustainability Strategy from a Cross-Sectional/Integrative and Holistic Perspective

At Ormazabal, we consider sustainability as a central element of our business strategy, and therefore, we integrate it transversally throughout the organization

Our business model seeks to contribute to sustainable development through the generation of long-term value that benefits all our stakeholders, responding to increasingly ambitious environmental, social, and governance demands. This has been significantly contributed to by the proliferation of relevant European regulations, which began in 2001 with the presentation by the European Commission of the Green Paper “to promote a European framework for corporate social responsibility” and has resulted in what is now considered a regulatory tsunami, with standards such as the 2022/2464 Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

To provide the necessary resources and structures to adequately develop this area, at Ormazabal we launched a multidisciplinary forum in 2023 dedicated to analyzing the different relevant ESG aspects for the company, addressing them from an integrative and holistic perspective.
