Euskalit awards Ormazabal's Secondary and Primary Distribution divisions for their excellence in advanced management

Ormazabal’s secondary distribution division has been awarded the Basque Award for Advanced Management in the Customer element, while the primary distribution division has received the Bronze Award for the Advanced Management Model

Both divisions have once again demonstrated the company’s commitment to advanced management by being awarded by Euskalit, the Basque Foundation for Quality, during the ceremony held yesterday 13th December at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao.

At Ormazabal we have been working since 2012 on improving management based on the reference of the Advanced Management Model promoted by Euskalit in the Basque Country. This model, based on the EFQM Model (European Foundation for Quality Management) of excellence, allows us to evaluate the level in which the organisation is with respect to its management of the strategy, people, innovation, clients (the entire supply chain), society and the results obtained with all of this.  This year 2021, our primary distribution division has received the Bronze recognition for the Advanced Management Model, the highest possible award when performing the simplified assessment, while the secondary distribution division has highlighted the company’s strong commitment to its customers, and has been awarded the Basque Award for Advanced Management in the “Clients” (supply chain) element, specifically for our supplier management model.
