Our team at Ormazabal Portugal unveiled our new tool for designing distribution grid projects for the Portuguese market: e.pergamin, at the end of last September. This online program, based on the projection of customized medium voltage grid designs and especially useful for engineering companies, was presented at an event in Lisbon to more than 60 clients from various types and sectors. Attendees closely examined all the details of a program that significantly reduces the time required for such simulations, while also allowing the generation of a descriptive project report for subsequent contracting/execution by the user.
A series of advantages make e.pergamin a fundamental ally for this type of engineering in the Portuguese country.
The event, whose patron was the engineer Silvino Maio, was attended by the Ormazabal team in Portugal, who addressed the clients’ various inquiries, as well as a significant representation of colleagues from Ormazabal Spain, who joined the event in support of the launch. Additionally, during the course of the meeting, a live simulation of a medium voltage distribution grid project was conducted, explaining the functionality of e.pergamin and its potential to facilitate such processes.
On the other hand, Ormazabal clients were able to get an up-close look at our new range of fluorinated gas-free cells for medium voltage up to 24 kV: sbp.zero24 and cgm.zero24. The best alternative to SF6 insulation for the distribution grid, which aims to transform and improve the sustainability of the electrical grid, has been developed with industrial natural air: manufactured in a controlled and tested manner, using only air components, commercially accessible, and patent-free.
