Ormazabal successfully completed 40.5/12 kV Zouping Baijia switching station

At the end of 2020, Ormazabal delivered its customized medium voltage solutions for Shandong Zouping Baijia switching station in China. This project required switchgear for both 40.5 kV and 12 kV networks. Ormazabal’s gae and cgm.3 medium voltage switchgear families are specially designed for these voltage levels, and have been widely installed in the Chinese network since decades ago.

This project acquired the intelligence of the smart grid with the inclusion of various protection and automation functions, remote control, data connection, as well as communications with the SCADA system of the local utility.
