55 years with our sights set on the future

Today we celebrate 55 years since our origins: a small secondary distribution switchgear factory in the town of Lemoa in Bizkaia (Spain).

From the beginning, we have always been known for being a close, innovative and flexible company.

For more than half a century we have striven to understand and be close to our clients and to maintain trusting relationships with them. We have adapted to the changes in the environment and in the sector. And we have maintained a clear commitment to innovation as a fundamental way to continue growing.

It is thanks to this that today we have a broad solutions portfolio, homologated in a multitude of countries and clients. Today we can say that we protect more than 100 GW of renewable generation capacity in the world and that one out of every five electric vehicle ultra-fast charging stations in Europe is connected to the grid through our equipment. We now see digitalisation as another challenge on our journey towards a more efficient and resilient electrical grid.

What started as a small family business has grown into a global company, with more than 2,400 people committed to realising a decarbonised and sustainable economic model in the long term.
